Technical Issues with External Surveys

Please be aware that the only surveys created by us are the ones which reveal the winning postcode of the Survey Draw. Anything outside of this is made by an external, third party survey company.

External surveys redirect you to a different site. You will notice the change in the URL.

Sometimes these external surveys experience technical issues. This could be anything such as a page not loading, a button not working or a button being missing / no 'Next' button for you to be able to continue with the survey, etc.

Please note, some members have reported that altering the size of the page sometimes reveals a Next/Continue button. You can try [Ctrl] +/-, or highlighting the entire page may reveal it.

Chrome: Select the magnifying galls in the top right corner of the window then zoom out with the -

Edge: Select Settings, more then choose Zoom Out

Firefox: Select the View menu, then click Zoom Out.

Safari: Select the View menu, then click Zoom Out.

If you experience any technical issues, please email us at admin@pickmypostcode.com, explaining what happened and if you are happy to, please grant us permission to share your details with that external company.

Then we will be able to report the issue to them, for them to find and fix.

Please do email us if you do experience technical issues because this will enable the Administrators to see any patterns. Only one report emailed in is probably a one-off technical issue but if we receive multiple emails about the same survey, then we can be sure that the issue isn't just a one off and contact that company.

Sadly, without permission to share details, they will not be able to find the particular activity to locate the problematic survey.

If permission is granted from the get go, it is more likely that the survey will still be live and the company will be able to fix the issue. Once the survey is closed, the issue will not be able to be fixed at that time and we will have to wait for the next occurrence.

So, please provide us with permission to share your details in your very first email, to avoid delays. (As long as you are happy to do that.) Thank you.

In these instances, your details will only be used for the purposes of finding the survey to fix it. As per this FAQ article https://help.pickmypostcode.com/article/112-pmp-as-registered-data-controllers
