Third party surveys
To help you build your PMP bonus and support our free prize draws, we conduct research with several third party survey providers. Participating in any research is entirely up to you and is not required for you to participate in the draws. To help you make an informed decision, we have detailed how we work with each of the survey providers below. For more information, please check the PMP Privacy Policy or contact us.
Samplicio.us
We are able to match you to surveys from Samplicio.us using the first half of your postcode and answers from the survey draw. Samplicio.us send us details of their survey opportunities and we anonymously match your details to a survey, without sharing any information about you with Samplicio.us. When you enter the survey, Samplicio.us will see the survey that we have recommended for you and may ask you some questions to ensure you are a good match.
Some of the responses you give to Samplicio.us are shared with PMP, for the purposes of improving our integration with Samplicio.us, to resolve conflicting answers or to improve the way we match surveys to you. Your responses will not be used to personalise the adverts on the site.
For more information please see the terms for Samplicio.us.
Pollfish
We are unable to anonymously match you to surveys provided through Pollfish. If you would like to access their surveys, you will need to create a profile and register an account with Pollfish. This can be done by clicking on the “get started” button if you are present with the Pollfish pop-out window.
When you start a survey with Pollfish, we send them a unique identifier that is returned to us when the survey is completed or when you get screened out. This information enables us to credit your account with PMP bonus but does not contain any responses you have given to Pollfish.
We may have access to anonymous and/or aggregated answers from Pollfish surveys, but we will not be able to link these to your account and your responses will not be used to personalise the adverts on the site.
For more information please see the Pollfish Privacy Policy.
Prodege
We are unable to anonymously match you to surveys provided through Prodege. If you agree to access their surveys, we will create an identifier that connects your PMP account to Prodege. This requires us to share basic details about you with Prodege, such as your country, gender, age, region, household income and postcode. Prodege will also process your IP address when the accounts are initially connected and when you complete their surveys.
Connecting your accounts allows Prodege to show you relevant survey opportunities and inform us when you have completed a survey or have been screened out, so that we can credit your account with PMP bonus.
The responses you give to Prodege's surveys are not automatically shared with your PMP account, but we may have access to your answers for the purposes of improving our integration with Prodege, to resolve conflicting answers or to improve the way we match surveys to you. Your responses will not be used to personalise the adverts on the site.
For more information please see the Prodege Terms of use and Prodege's International Privacy Policy.
Your Surveys
We are able to match you to surveys from Your Surveys using your region and answers from the survey draw. Your Surveys send us details of their survey opportunities and we anonymously match your details to a survey, without sharing any information about you with them. When you enter the survey, Your Surveys will see the survey that we have recommended for you and may ask you some questions to ensure you are a good match. They will also ask you to provide your email address and postcode. Your Surveys is owned and operated by Cint.
Some of the responses you give to Your Surveys may shared with PMP, for the purposes of improving our integration with Your Surveys, to resolve conflicting answers or to improve the way we match surveys to you. Your responses will not be used to personalise the adverts on the site.
For more information please see the Your Surveys Terms & Conditions and Your Surveys Privacy Policy.
When you complete surveys from Your Surveys you are given a quality score, every new panelist starts with a score of 100 and it can then vary depending on your seriousness when taking the surveys. If your score drops too low you will then be blocked for a period of three months. You can find out more about their quality score here.
Please also be aware that Cint/ Your Surveys will block your account if you try to do any surveys from abroad, so please do not try to complete any while on holiday. (This might be the same for other third party survey companies too so we would suggest not doing any surveys from abroad.)
If you do get blocked, we can contact them and request that they review it. We can't promise that we can get the block removed but we can at least try. Please email us at admin@pickmypostcode.com and grant us permission to share your details with Your Surveys.
PureSpectrum Marketplace
We are able to match you to surveys from the PureSpectrum Marketplace anonymously and it should offer a wide-range of survey opportunities from different marketplace researchers. When you enter the survey, PureSpectrum will see the survey that we have recommended for you and may ask you some additional questions to ensure you are a good match. It will also use this answers to help match you to other survey opportunities in future.
If you choose to participate in a survey PureSpectrum will assign you an identifier called a PSID, which is linked to your PMP account through a randomly generated alphanumerical id. This means you are able to participate in the marketplace without sharing your email address with PureSpectrum. The PSID will be shared with the marketplace researchers to help them conduct their research as well as organise follow-up surveys or screen out unsuitable respondents.
Unlike the other third party survey integrations, PureSpectrum considers itself to be a data processor, with the data controllers being PMP and the individual marketplace researchers, which means it's best to contact us if you would like to exercise any of your data rights, such as deleting your account.
For more information about the PureSpectrum Marketplace you can read the PureSpectrum FAQ on Pick My Postcode or the PureSpectrum Privacy Policy
